CULTURE
-
It started with a group of friends and a habit. Late night supper runs across to JB. Nothing planned. Just an excuse to ride and be out.
Then Singapore started feeling small.
So we went looking. Malacca first, then KL, and something clicked. We kept pushing, up through Ipoh, then all the way to Hat Yai, Koh Lanta and Krabi, looping home down the east coast. We filmed every mile of it.
That's where 6ixth lane was born. Not as a brand, but as a way of capturing what we were already living.
-
6ixth lane started as a video outfit for riders and drivers. We shot the rides, the bikes, the nights, all for the love of it. A small group brought us in to cover their events, and through them we found a whole world of people.
Then the superbike scene found us. The riders who really ride. We shot their night runs, then started riding with them. Stopped riding far. Started riding fast. The whole crew levelled up.
Somewhere in there, the brand grew up too. 6ixth lane became something of its own, a lifestyle built around the culture we were living. That was Chapter 1.
-
A few friends with cameras became a team, and a community far bigger than the people who started it.
We're not a riding group, and we never want to be. 6ixth lane is people who share one ethos, the same reason for being on the road. You don't join by signing up. You're 6ixth lane if the road means more to you than the destination, if it's where you feel most yourself.
The rides, the films, the nights. That's just how the culture takes shape. The real thing is the people, and what we already understand without saying it.
There's no last page here. We're still in it, chapter after chapter, ride after ride. The story keeps writing itself, and we're documenting every mile.
You're early. The best of it hasn't happened yet.
